CELEBRATING THE LEGAL PROFESSION AND OUR LEGAL SYSTEM

The First San Diego Courthouse, Inc (a nonprofit group that oversees the first courthouse, rebuilt in Old Town) and the San Diego County Public Law Library’s Justice Foundation are teaming together to celebrate the roots of our profession, and raise needed endowment money for repairs to the Old Town courthouse and additional revenue for the various law library funds.
Celebrating 50 years of the downtown law library (dedicated Oct 7, 1958), 50 years of Law Day (May 1, 1958) and 50 years of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), created in 1958 to preserve and protect our civil jury system.
